This worked in Vista too, so give it a try. Worked in all versions that i had till now and yes i could download and install IE7 and WMP 11!

I had this for a long time so the microsoft probably changed it but u can go to this link now:
http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/default.aspx?displaylang=en&PartnerID=4

and then click Validate Windows.

Yes u may download Genuine Advantage Validation tool it will pass it after u use this regkey.
